The Dress

This is a beautiful hand made Suzanne Neville Amerie dress worn once on my wedding day in summer 2021. The dress was bought from Ellie Sanderson Bridal Boutique in Beaconsfield and has been made to measure. It was the first dress I tried on and I loved it from the word go. The material is so beautiful and the silk organza top layer is the most stunning material. It has a beautiful bodice with a built in corset (which is hidden within the dress) and this can be loosened or tightened depending on your breast size. I normally wear size 14 tops because of my breast size (34FF/E). It has about 8 beautiful layers of delicate netting and silk and the top layer of silk organza means it flows beautifully. There are some scuffs on the front in the material, possibly from my bouquet or dancing, but I hope that with the natural creases, this won't show (see photos for how it falls beautifully).

The dress has been professionally cleaned by the experts at Terrington Burchett. There are some scuffs and staining at the bottom of the dress from the dance floor but I am hoping that as I am 6ft this could be altered and therefore removed. The dress is currently in a beautiful preservation box from Terrington Burchett.

The dress is extremely comfortable as the corset can be tightened to exactly your measurements (and stays in place without being too tight and you don't need to wear a bra). There are gorgeous silk buttons down the back of the dress with a v-shaped back. I felt absolutely amazing in this dress and loved wearing it, however I am ready for it to go to a new owner and be loved again on your gorgeous wedding day.
